Perth, Australia – Mosaic Community Care is proud to announce that its Learn2Adult website has been named a finalist in the ‘Not-for-profit/community website of the year’ category of the 2025 Australian Access Awards.
The awards, presented by the Centre for Accessibility Australia, celebrate organisations that are leading the way in making digital spaces more inclusive for people with disability.
This year’s awards received a record 126 nominations, with 64 finalists selected by a panel of eight accessibility experts from across the country. The judges recognised Learn2Adult for its commitment to accessibility and its innovative approach to supporting young people with disability.
Mosaic’s proprietary program, Learn2Adult is a free online tool designed to help people with disability aged 12+ years – and their families – prepare for adulthood by building decision-making skills.
Developed with support from Telethon, the digital platform acts as a roadmap to guide the shift in decision-making from parents to young adults. It helps families plan how and when to support their child in taking on more responsibility, while also giving young people the tools to make everyday decisions for themselves.
The Learn2Adult tool steps people through a wide range of decisions that adults typically make, such as managing money, choosing what to eat, or deciding how to spend their time. It also supports young people in learning how to make these decisions safely and confidently, at their own pace.
Mosaic Community Care’s CEO Rob Wilton said the nomination is a proud moment for the organisation and a reflection of its values.
We’re honoured that Learn2Adult has been recognised as a finalist in the Access Awards. This tool was created to support young people with disability to live more independently and make their own choices. Accessibility was a key focus from the start, and we’re thrilled to see that commitment acknowledged on a national stage.

Designed by Key2Creative, the Learn2Adult website is easy to use for people with disability. The website uses plain English, visual supports, and interactive features to make learning engaging and accessible. It also works well on mobile devices and includes features like keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.
The benefits of Learn2Adult go beyond just learning new skills. For teenagers and young adults, the tool can lead to a better quality of life, stronger protection of their human rights, fewer behaviours of concern, and less reliance on restrictive practices. It’s a practical and empowering resource that supports both individuals and their families through a key life transition. Upon completing the self-paced tool, participants can opt for ongoing one-to-one support through Learn2Adult coaching with a dedicated coach.
The winners of the 2025 Australian Access Awards will be announced next month at a special event celebrating innovation and inclusion. Mosaic is honoured to be among the finalists and remains committed to creating tools that support independence, dignity, and choice for people with disability.
