The festive season is all about giving, and once again the Mosaic team has truly delivered. Our 7th annual Food Drive, led by General Manager Operations Zak Brearley, has officially wrapped up, and what an incredible achievement.
In one of our biggest years yet, the team collected 487 kilograms of non-perishable food items, including pasta, cereal, canned food, pasta sauce and more.
Zak captured the moment perfectly, describing the drop-off as “a car packed to the brim”, a powerful image of our community’s generosity and spirit. These donations will make a real impact for families across Western Australia facing food insecurity.
This year’s food drive wasn’t just powered by the Mosaic team, it was amplified by friends, families, and local businesses who rallied together to make a difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this incredible effort.
“I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you, whether you donated, helped spread the word, or encouraged others to get involved. Your generosity and community spirit have made a real difference. Together, we’ve shown what can be achieved when we rally behind a great cause”, said Zak.
Mosaic Community Care CEO Rob Wilton expressed his gratitude. “This achievement reflects the core tenets of Mosaic: community, compassion, and commitment. Thank you for showing what’s possible when we come together,” he said.

Why 487 kilograms matters
Every donation counts, especially during the festive season. Here’s what our 487 kg contribution could mean:
- Hundreds of meals provided to families across WA
- Support for school breakfast programs, helping children start their day well-fed
- Reinforcement of Foodbank WA’s steady supply to frontline charities
Every tin, packet, and box from our Food Drive can help reduce hunger and ease financial burden on families during the holidays.
