Village atmosphere
We offer four disability supported accommodations to choose from, all co-located to create a village-like atmosphere. This setup fosters a sense of community while allowing for privacy and independence. The main shared living home features four bedrooms and two large, accessible bathrooms. The open-plan living space is airy and inviting, complete with a pool table for recreation. The covered patio and garden area provide a perfect spot for relaxation and social gatherings.
Private and accessible independent living units
In addition to the main home, we have three accessible independent living units on the same property. Each unit includes one bedroom, a private ensuite, a kitchenette, and an open-plan living space. These units are ideal for those who prefer their own space but appreciate the reassurance of having caring and professional support staff on site 24/7. Our team is always available to assist with daily living activities, ensuring you have the support you need to live independently.
Our homes are well-connected to public transport routes, making it easy to access the wider community. We also have a van with a hoist available for outings, ensuring you can attend appointments, go shopping, or enjoy recreational activities with ease.
Vacancy
There is one vacancy in the main shared house and one vacancy in an independent living unit. The vacancy in the main shared house is suitable for a male (30-55 years) with mild to moderate intellectual disability. While the independent living unit would be suitable for a male (20-65 years) who is seeking their own living space and share overnight supports.

- Located on the same block, there are three independent living units. These are perfect for individuals who prefer a more private living arrangement. This setup allows for independence while still being part of a supportive community.
- A dedicated van is available to get you out and about to appointments, shopping, cafes and other activities in the community that are important to you.
- The homes are designed with accessibility in mind, featuring no steps or stairs. This ensures that all residents, including those with mobility challenges, can move around freely and safely within their living spaces.
- For residents who require additional assistance, hoisting is available. Our trained staff are equipped to provide this support, ensuring that all residents can move comfortably and safely.
- Accessible parking is available right outside the homes, providing easy access for residents and visitors.
- Each SIL home Spearwood is equipped with accessible toilets and bathrooms, including grab rails. These features are designed to provide maximum safety and independence, allowing you to use the facilities with confidence and ease.
