Rusha is ready to support more clients on their NDIS journey

A great Support Coordinator can make all the difference with your NDIS experience. Are you looking for the right support coordinator to work with? Mosaic Support Coordinator, Rusha has recently increased her work hours and is now able to support more people with disability on their NDIS journey.

Committed. Bright. Youthful. These are the words that come to mind when thinking about our Support Coordination team member, Rusha. We recently interviewed Rusha, here’s what she has to say about being a Support Coordinator at Mosaic.

How did you become a Support Coordinator? In August 2020, I began working at Mosaic as a support worker in Mosaic’s supported independent living houses. I expressed my interest in working as a support coordinator while working as a support worker. Even though I previously had not worked as a support coordinator, Mosaic saw my genuine interest in this role and my dedicated personality.

Tell us what you enjoy most about your role? Working as a Support Coordinator is a dream come true for me.  I love working with people with disability, guiding them through every step of their NDIS plan.

What’s your top tip for people going for their NDIS planning meeting? I recommend having a pre-planning meeting with your Support Coordinator and Allied Health team to discuss your current supports, to think about new goals, and explore different ways to manage your NDIS plan, and organise the paperwork ahead of time!

When not at work, what do you enjoy doing? On my days off, I love spending time with my friends and family. Apart from that, I enjoy going for walks, cooking, and playing chess.
