We’re expanding our Positive Behaviour Support Team! We are looking for passionate and dedicated people who are beginning, or looking to begin, their journey as an NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
About you
We are looking for someone who has the following experience, qualifications and commitment:
- Field Experience: Experience in NDIS Positive Behaviour Support or related disability fields, along with knowledge of NDIS framework and legislation.
- Tertiary Qualifications: A degree in psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, social work, education, or nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Practitioner Suitability: Must be assessed as a suitable Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS or be willing to apply for assessment.
- Innovation in Practice: Ability to integrate evidence-based frameworks and develop comprehensive support systems for individuals.
- Personalised Focus: Commitment to a person-centred approach, customizing services to meet individual needs.
- Commitment to Excellence: Dedicated to maintaining and enhancing service quality for outstanding results.
- Professional Growth: Strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Required Qualifications: Australian driver’s licence, Working with Children Card, First Aid Certificate, and an NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain these before employment.
