Geoff Parnell

Chair

Geoff has extensive and varied business experience across a wide range of private, state and local government sector organisations. He has worked in senior roles with major national and international organisations, including Arthur Andersen, KPMG, Commonwealth Bank, Tungsten Group, Hames Sharley, GHD and Programmed Group.

His corporate and consulting experience has involved him diverse projects across Australia (including regional and remote areas) that have contributed to client organisation’s effectiveness, delivery of strategic objectives and efficient facility and asset management.

Geoff has executive director roles with Aqumen Pty Ltd and Minc Services and is a non-executive director of Juniper.

Geoff has a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and past National Chair and Life Member of the Facilities Management Association of Australia.

Geoff joined the Board in June 2007.

Phillip Barker

Treasurer

Phillip is an experienced finance and investment professional bringing over 25 years of commercial experience to the Board. His career has included a variety of roles including accounting, commercial banking, financial services training, funds management and company secretarial. He has worked with major companies such as Aspen Group, AMP Capital, Challenge Bank and the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Phillip currently works as a consultant to the funds management and finance sector.

Phillip brings valuable skills to the Board in business management, financial analysis, corporate governance and client services. He has previously held Board roles within the not-for-profit sector.

Phillip holds a Bachelor of Business degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment. He holds memberships with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, CPA Australia and Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Virginia Miltrup

Virginia Miltrup

Vice Chair

Virginia is an experienced senior executive with expertise in supporting businesses adapt and align to emerging market and consumer realities.  She has a passion for bringing customer-centric thinking to the implementation of business solutions.

Virginia has lead people, change and strategy functions in both the public and private sectors in her executive roles at the CBH Group (Australia’s Largest member-owned business), Synergy (Government Trading Enterprise), Thomson Reuters (Global Publicly Listed Business) and Local Government.

Virginia holds a Masters of Leadership and Management, Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics.

As an experienced Non-Executive Board Director, Virginia has held Chairman roles at Emergen and International Art Space. She has been a member of Mosaic’s Board since 2013 and was appointed Deputy Chair of Mosaic in 2018.

In her spare time, Virginia marries her love of analytics and joy of learning by coaching teens to find their inner-mathematician and problem-solver.

Chris Ryder

Board Member

Chris is a partner in the Construction Practice Group at the national law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

He has previously been Practice Group Leader of the firm’s national Construction Practice Group. Before that he was Partner-in-Charge of the Perth office.  Chris currently sits on the firm’s Board.

Chris has been practising law for twenty-five years, mainly in the area of construction dispute resolution for clients in the resources and energy sectors, both owners and contractors.  He has an Honours degree in Law and an MBA.

Chris joined the Mosaic Board in October 2011. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Centre for Social Impact at UWA’s Business School.

Jodi Kerr

Board Member

Jodi was appointed to the Board in 2013 and is a senior business executive with a proven track record in developing business strategies and driving their implementation to deliver sustainable results. She operates her own boutique business consulting firm, specialising in business transformation and strategy development. She is a former Executive Member of Joondalup Health Campus (a Ramsay Health Hospital) and Director in the Analytics Division of Deloitte.

Throughout her career, she has worked for some of Australia’s most recognisable brands across numerous industries including: hospital management, financial services, telecommunication, medical devices, energy and resources, and automotive.

She has an extensive background in business development, strategic planning and data analytics.

Jodi brings to Mosaic expertise, including health industry knowledge, a deep understanding of reporting to government, contract management, public / private partnerships and board governance.

As a Director, Jodi has served on both for-profit and not-for-profit Boards in the health sector, the arts and motor industry over the past five years.

Dr Rachel Skoss

Board Member

Dr Rachel Skoss is a passionate advocate for people with additional needs and their families and is the mother of a child with an intellectual disability.

Rachel has held a number of roles in the disability sector, including chairing the Ministerial Advisory Council on Disability, translating research to practice with the Centre for Applied Disability Research, and has been a Board Member of the Disability Services Commission.

Rachel holds a BSc and PhD from the University of Western Australia, and a Masters of Evaluation from the University of Melbourne.

She currently works in applied research and evaluation at the Telethon Kids Institute, with a focus on human services in the health, mental health, education and disability sectors, and consults on evaluation projects related to service provision and relevant policy.

Rachel brings extensive knowledge and experience of family carer issues, research/evaluation, policy, NDIS, and disability as it interfaces with mainstream human services.

Elizabeth Fergusson

Board Member

Elizabeth has over twenty years of marketing experience in a range of senior roles based in Europe, Australia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Elizabeth has worked in industries as diverse as fast-moving consumer goods, energy and land development, across both government and private sectors.

She currently manages LandCorp’s corporate and project strategic marketing and communications activities including media, public relations, research, brand management and sponsorship.

Elizabeth holds a Masters in Business Administration and is an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Elizabeth joined the Board in June 2013.

Pippa Cebis

Pippa commenced working with Mosaic in 2017 in an Executive Management role, and was appointed as CEO in March 2019 following a period of serving in an acting capacity. An accomplished senior professional with 20 years’ experience in both not for profit and private community service organisations, Pippa’s career has led her to successfully fulfilling senior management positions in variously the disability, aged care, and mental health sectors. Holding an MBA (Advanced) and undergraduate degree (Hons) from UWA as well as 2 post graduate diplomas, Pippa is well equipped to lead a thriving organisation though an exciting period of internal growth and the external disruption that has accompanied the introduction of the NDIS.

Pippa is an innovative leader with a motivational management style and reputation for building and retaining highly motivated teams. With her focus on creating and leading transformational change in not-for-profit and private community service organisations, large and small, she brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Mosaic team.

Navigating the complexity of working collaboratively with government, corporate, not-for-profit and research sectors, Pippa has achieves tangible outcomes for clients and organisations, and repeatedly proves that win-win outcomes are attainable.
