Fixed term part time for 12 months (with possibility of permanency)19 hours per weekBased at Jandakot Head Office and access to flexible working hours arrangement between Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5.00pm, this role will require a motivated self-starter who is able to set the volunteering program from scratch up and run it.   • Promoting organisation brand and activities at all times

Relevant Skills Include:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services, Human Resources or equivalent, along with experience working with volunteers and/or staff engagement
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in coordinating volunteers, including the recruitment, training and support of volunteers
  • Background in the development and implementation of volunteer strategy and practices
  • Experience in volunteering management systems is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage compliance systems, including police check systems, etc.  
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging events with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Highly developed communication and conflict management skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement
  • Sound computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office suite and databases 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to respond to changing circumstances in a flexible and adaptable way
  • Self driven individual who can delivery projects with passion and energy
  • Excellent problem solving & solution creation skills
  • Ability to work within tight time frames and across multiple tasks/projects
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
