NDIS IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers.
The NDIS will provide about 460,000 Australians aged under 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with the supports they need to live an ordinary life.
How does it work?
The NDIS takes a flexible approach, working with people with disability, their families and carers to develop personalised plans.
Under the NDIS people with disability have more choice and control over how, when and where their supports are provided. They also have a greater certainty that they will receive the support they need over their lifetime.
At Mosaic we strive to ensure that the people we work with have the best possible opportunities to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
We assist people to develop their own personal life plans, set their goals and then we provide the support to achieve these.
